JAZZ  -  is a free-form technique set to today's popular music. Emphasis in each class is placed on floor stretches, isolations, across the floor combinations, and highenergy dancing. Professionally choreographed jazz pieces are presented to each class.

TAP - teaches a sense of rhythm and timing, develops an alert and thinking mind, and improves coordination. Dance steps and combinations are taught along with tap techniques and choreographed routines.
​

BALLET - is a beautiful art form which is the foundation for all types of dance. An inventive application of techniques is introduced using various musical patterns and coordinated combinations. Grace, poise, and posture are emphazied. 
​

POINTE - dancing on the tips of your toes can only be effortless and expressive after a ballerina has trained for several years and her body, legs, and feet are strong enough to lift her up and down. Good pointework looks graceful and feminine. Students must get permission from Miss Sarah and Miss Nicole to enroll in this class.

ACRO  - We incorporate  a series of conditioning techniques to build up the student's  body strength with focus on flexibility and hand and elbow balancing. An Acro and tumbling series is taught with advanced tricks, skills, and conditioning.

CONTEMPORARY - an expressive form of dance that fuses modern, jazz, lyrical, and ballet with a song connection between emotion and movement. 
​

MODERN  - an American art form adapted from ballet using graceful and exciting bodily movements to express emotions.

​

MUSICAL THEATER   (age 8 and up) - Learn classic broadway theater dance movement and styles from your favorite musicals. Participants will study choreography, vocal, acting, and history of theater. 

​

LITTLE DANCERS  - (Ages 3, 4, and 5 year olds) A combination class of Tap and Ballet

 

PREKINDER DANCE - (4 and 5 year olds)   A combination class of Tap and Ballet

 

KINDERDANCE -(5 and 6 year olds) This fun-filled class is a combination of tap and ballet.

TINY DANCERS- (2 and 3 year olds) A combination class of Tap and Ballet

THE OPENING PRODUCTION NUMBER: This is a major production number for ages 6 and up that opens up our recital. A one time fee of $95 includes a costume and classes towards the end of the year. 
 

PERFORMANCE TEAM - Our Performance Teams are for the dancer 5th grade and older who is ready to show commitment to the art of dance and further their skills and abilities in numerous dance styles. We now have a Jv and a Varsity team. In addition to camaraderie amongst the team members, they will gain confidence, teamwork skills, and performance experiences throughout the year at various events in and around our community like “Trunk or Treat", Parades, Casinos Events, Flyers Games,  and a few new ones this year. This is not a competitive team and you will not have to audition (this year), but you must be enrolled in Ballet, Jazz, and a third class of your choice at LDS.

MOMMY & ME: a delightful dance and music class designed specifically for children ages 1 to 3 years old, where the little ones can explore the joy of movement while staying close to mommy. This engaging class offers a perfect introduction to dance allowing toddlers to express themselves through music and rhythm in a supportive and fun environment. It's not only an excellent opportunity for your child to develop motor skills and coordination, but also to socialize and make new friends with fellow young dancers.
